1st Birthday Party, Finally!!

We finally got around to have Avery's One year Birthday party!!  What's one month late when you won't even remember it anyway?  It wasn't exactly a good time for me to have to see everyone with the bald head and stitches!!  So this bought me some time to plan!  After writing out the invite list, I counting up the friends and family invited (61) and their kids (15) I knew that my house could not hold this many!  Just the kids would have ruined it!  My house isn't wicked small, but to fit that many kids in one playroom, OMG, it would have been a disaster!!  So we decided to have it at a recently renovated (by my hubby!) community center in the next town over.  I know the look everyone is making right now ("eww") but this place is pretty cute, I promise.  But of course, since I was hosting the party, I wasn't able to take many pictures of my guest, but mainly pictures of Avery and her cupcake.  I got NONE of the decorations and little details that I put so much effort into.  That hurts!!  I wish I did!  But here you go, pics and a few comments of the party.  I think Avery and Cam, and hopefully all else that came had fun.  I know I did :)

After, she played in the tunnel for awhile and loved it!

 Cam and Ryan were freakishly hyper and chased each other around with the walking toys almost the whole time!  And that's Rocco in the background!  Cutey pie!

 Oh and wrestled. My nephew, the smaller one, seems to be better at it then Cam

We decided, with the amount of toddlers and preschoolers at the party, that opening gifts there might become hectic, so we opened the next morning.  The kids both had this gross cold all day today, so it wasn't as spectacular to Avery as is was to Cameron!

So that was that.  We had tons of fun, got to see a lot of our family and friends and let the kids play together.  It was like a big play date!  Next time, I NEED to take pictures of everyone that was there, and group shots of the kids!  They will all look sooo much bigger next year, if we do it again.  So sad!  Love you Avery Cate, my big little baby!  She will be be called the baby until there is another one, even if she's a teenager!!
