Our first Fall weekend!

It was such a great weekend! We were on the go from start to finish! Saturday to went to Davis Farmland in Sterling. We had never been there before, but heard great things about it. It's this big huge petting zoo type place. But not the gross and smelly type. Those kind totally gross me out, but this place was adorable! Cameron would be combing this furry little cow, and a tiny little sheep would come up to join in on the fun! It was crazy cute! Even Avery wanted to pet the animals, and she's usually afraid to be close to them!

They had this huge jungle gym that the goats climbed up on and you send food up with a pulley.  It was pretty weird to see them way up high like that!

See the goat?

Oh, just brushing a baby cow!
And holding a baby goat!

After the farm part we picked apples in their orchard. The kids loved dragging along the heavy bags and stealing bites of every other apple before putting them in the bag. I love my little cuties!

Oh, and on the way home our GPS somehow brought us by the Wachusette Reservoir. We didn't see it on the way there, but it has this crazy huge damn so we stopped to explore.

On Sunday, we got together with Matt, Katie and baby Josie and went to Adams Farm to go pumpkin picking. Of course, the baby slept the whole time, but it was fun going!! We HAD to stop at the Big Apple after to get their famous Carmel apples and cider donuts afterwards. Growing up a few miles away, it's not Fall without going there, long lines and all! Its a major tradition around these parts :)

 Josie, sleeping :)
Dentist bill?
She loooved it!
 See?
The new parents

 I loved her hat!

Well, that was waaay to many photos!  Sorry about that!  We had a busy, but fun, weekend.  It was many "firsts" for Avery, well her first time doing these things as a walker, so they needed to be captured. Some day I'll put the camera down.  I promise :)

Cameron's First Day of Preschool!!

Can you believe it?  Cause I sure can't!! But it's true: my little baby boy is a big PRESCHOOLER now! He's only going two half days a week, but what the heck am I going to do with out him?  Avery and I are going to be so lost!

But anyway, today went good!  He woke up on time, got ready easily and was super excited to be off on his new adventure.  I've never left him alone with people other then family before, so I really had no idea how he would act, or me for that matter! But he did great! He seemed a little scared and shy when we first got there, but once other kids started playing, he joined right in, and hardly looked back (well, after I got a big hug and kiss!) When I got back to pick him up, they were out at the playground and I spyed for a minute and he seemed so happy!!  He was playing great with the other kids, but once he saw me he ran right up, excited I was there. I am so proud of him.  But he really, really needs to slow down with all this growing up stuff!  One day I'm going to blink and he's going to be in college!  But, until then, I just need to savor all the hugs and kisses and cuddles and loving words that he gives out so freely. I just love this kid, "to the moon and back", right Cam?

He was really excited!

Modeling?
Our "Kissing Hand". I had one, too.  I kissed his heart and he kissed mine, so that when we missed each other, we could just put our hand to our cheek and feel the love from each other.  When he got home he told me, "I had so much fun, I only needed your kiss one time!"  Cutie pie :)

Aubrey turned One!!

My niece Aubrey, the kids first girl cousin, turned one last weekend. (Her birthday is on 9-10-11, which means I will never forget it!) Michelle and Chris had a party for her at their house.  There was a little bit of rain, but nothing a big party tent couldn't handle!  We had fun!  The kids ran around like wild animals, playing with all the other kids that were there.  Chris's dad brought a vintage ride on boat, one that you would have found outside of a grocery store, for the kids to ride.  They loved it!  Oh, and the food was great, cupcakes especially!

I really can't believe Aubrey is one already!  That seemed to fly, faster then the first year of my kids lives!  So, from your Auntie, happy birthday, baby girl!  Your growing up way to quickly!  Slow down, just for a little while, so your mommy and daddy can breath for a minute and take in your sweet baby-ness.  Because not to long from now, you won't be little anymore!  You will be walking and talking and feeding your self.  Soon, you won't want all the help that your parents are so willing to give you now.  Your hugs will be less frequent, your kisses more scarce.  And one day, your Mommy and Daddy will stop and wonder, "How did this happen?? Wasn't she a baby just a few days ago?"  So, Aubrey, just slow down, every now and then.  Mommy and Daddy are busy keeping up with you, so when you can, just give them a few extra hugs, cuddle a little longer and let them believe you are still a baby, even if you aren't.  They will appreciate it!  Thanks, love :)

Summer wrap up

It was Labor Day on the Cape this weekend, so I took a ridiculous amount, so instead of big paragraphs in between 30 pictures, how about pictures with only a few words?  Ah, whatevs, its what I'm doing!

We took a day trip to Sandy Neck in Barnstable with my parents. Its a beautiful beach!  Today it was just a little to cold to go swimming.

Avery was on a mission!  She wanted to lead the way and didn't want to stop walking, it was so cute :)
Cam got pooped on by a seagull :)

After Sandy Neck we went to Barnstable Harbor, where the tide goes out forever, so its great for walking and looking for crabs.  Cam was in heaven!

 The Lightbody's!
Cam and Ave with there Mimi and Papa
Mark had a brillant idea of putting Avery in a bucket...
But she tipped over and got soaked lol
Cutest freckles ever!
The next day some family came over. And it was busy!
Uncle Mike took Cam for a ride...
They waited for the ice cream man...

Aubrey and Avery dug for some rocks...

Cam flew his shark kite...
We took another family pic...
We went out for a boat ride...

 And caught some fish!

It was a good weekend :)
