25 Weeks!!

Okay, lets try something new. I wanted a picture of baby belly 1 and baby belly 2 to compare, but i didn't take one last time! I spent most of my 24th week in the hospital, so I guess I was just getting setteled back home on bed rest in my pj's. I just must not have felt like taking my picture! So without a picture to compare my current hugeness to, we will compare the 23 week belly instead. It's hard to tell in the pictures, since the last one I'm wearing a dress. I'm guessing this time, though. I'm just feeling big. You be the judge!!

Halloween 2010

It wasn't just a night for us like usual. It was the whole weekend!! We started on Saturday morning with an outing to Roger Williams Park Zoo, in RI. We went with the Kenney's and the kids had a blast!! They got all dressed up in their costumes and went around the zoo looking at all the animals! We pulled them around in our wagon for most of the time, which Cam loved but Ashlyn wanted to walk more. They set up some trick or treat stations, which was like practice for our little ones. It was cute to hear them say "trick or treat" to everyone! If you can't tell in the pictures, Cameron was a dragon and Ashlyn was Dorothy from Wizard of Oz.

That night, my inlaws town was having their offical Halloween. Weird little story. They live in Foxboro, which is the home to the New England Patriots and they were having a big game on October 31st. So the town decided to do all of their trick or treating and what not on the 30th instead. Fine by me! So we met up with the Kenney's again, along with my sister Tina and nephew Ryan, at my inlaws and brought them out to a few houses.

Sunday night (whew!) we went trick or treating in our town. We met up with my family at my sisters house and went from there. It was pretty fun and Cameron and Ryan had a ton of getting the candy from the neighbors. Cam did get a little scared from the props that made noises and stuff, but they were loud and bigger then him, so can you blame him?? Aren't they so cute ??

Ok, I haven't died...

But my computer did!! The screen of my poor, cherished Mac is broken and has been for months now!! And it's not a cheap fix. If we go to a Apple store nearby it will be close to $800, and with everything else we are doing around the house and in preparation for the new baby, that just is not happening! So Mark found someone to do it out of state for MUCH less then that. But still, money is money and while other things are getting done, I'm stuck with this little Netbook. At least its something. But since I'm so obsessed with my pics, I hate posting them on here without tweaking them to my liking before hand. This computer has no editing software. Ugh, so I have been trying to keep up with the word part of my blogs, I just don't post them until the corresponding pics are ready to go with them! So if all of the sudden I have posts all the way back to Labor Day, I'm sorry!! Its a bit of a journal for me, so I'm sure you understand!

But in the meantime, all is good on the family front. Mark's great, Cam's great and the little baby in my belly is doing great as well! I'm doing pretty good, too!! (Kinda great, but I don't want to jinx anything!) We are starting to work on a bunch of things around the house in prep for the extension of our family! We are re-doing our kitchen and our first project was adding a dishwasher, not only a new dishwasher, but our FIRST dishwasher since we bought this house!! Can I just say I'm never going back to hand washing dishes again?? Sigh, what took us so long :)

I'll be back soon, just hope my computer gets fixed soon!!!

Then and Now

I can hardly fathom the fact that it has been a year since I took my first Fall pictures of Cameron. When you look at the pictures of him last fall, he actually looked like a baby. He was 7 or 8 months, depending on the pic. This year, he is so not a baby. He's a little boy. And an awesome, adorable one at that!!

So, with that in the back of our minds, we decided to take Cameron to the Big Apple for caramel apples and Adams Farm to pick our boy a pumpkin. Last year we went with our best friends, The Kenney's so we had to go with them again this year. They are even expecting their second baby about 3 weeks before us!! We seriously did not plan this or the last ones! Cam and Ash are a month apart. Maybe this is the start of a tradition?

So here are some Then and Now pics of the kids.

Sigh. Pregnant hormones suck!

Then: 8 months in the Baby Borjn
Now: Running around at 20 months
Then: trying out Mommy's apple
Now: Having his own apple, with Mommy
Then: Watching the cow
Now: Mooing at the cow
Just had to add this one in!
Then: Sitting in the pumpkin patch
Now: Sitting ON the pumpkin patch
Then: Pulling himself up on a pumpkin
Now: Trying to lift up the pumpkin

Fall Weekend!!

We had some beautious Fall weather this weekend!! Started out able to wear pants and break out the long sleeve shirts, but by Sunday, the temp was in the mid 70's so back to shorts sleeves again. But who cares? It was bright and sunny and hardly a cloud in the sky! Saturday, Mark work int he am so my sister Tina and my nephew came over for a play date and to do some baby clothes trading. After Mark got home, we took a ride around town and Mark found what he had been looking for for months now! A Cozy Coupe! It was on the side of the road with a "Free" sign taped to it. It looked like they had just finished up a yard sale. So home we went and after a quick "car" wash, it looks like new! Cameron LOVES it! We don't have that huge of a driveway, but the car is still a bit heavy so he isn't able to move it very far at a time. But regardless, it is by far, his new favorite toy in his little world!! And Mark was pretty proud of himself for finding it, I might add!

"Vroom-Vroom!"
Sunday we decided to go to Lookout Farm in Natick, MA. It's huge orchard that has everything to pick from tons of types of apples, peaches, pears, pumpkins, plums and strawberries. The place is so big they offer "train" rides to get you from point A to point B. This was loved by Cameron! First we took the train to the playground/petting zoo/concession stand for lunch and to play for a bit. He loved seeing the animals!

After that we took the train to the type of apples that we wanted and picked a huge bag of apples. Cam loved the picking, until we let him have a bite of one. Then that was all he cared about!! At one point he had two huge apples, one in each hand, taking turns eating them. He is my son, but i must say, he's freaking adorable! The farm was pretty stunning, too!

After that, he was super tired so we grabbed some cider donuts and came home, oh with a stop at the in-laws for a Cammy visit! It was really a great weekend with not to much going on, just how I like it!!!!

Caroline's Big 0-1!

Last weekend we took a ride up to NH to celebrate our friends Casey and Shawn's baby girl Caroline's first birthday! Everything was adorable, from the cupcakes, to her smash cake, to decorations, to her adorable birthday dress. They rented the Clubhouse at their development, which turned out perfectly. It was GREAT weather out, so the sliding glass doors were open the whole time, and wouldn't you know, my son wanted to be outside! But along with Caroline and Cameron, two other little girls were their, sisters 15 months and 2.5 years old. Adorable, or course, and the older one was in love with Cameron, giving him kisses and holding his hand the whole time. Pretty cute! We had a great time and Cam was pretty friendly to everyone. That's a bit of an understatement. He was quite the ham actually, making people laugh and such. Hey, nothing wrong with starting early, right?

So Happy Birthday Caroline!! Hope you loved all your great gifts! And try not to grow so fast this next year! Your mom may have a heart attack!!

Labor Day Weekend

I haven't been much of a great blogger this summer! I've been feeling pretty gross most of the time actually! I can't eat much of anything without feeling naseous. I'm about 16 weeks pregnant now so hopefully that means this will stop very, very soon! I'm ready to gain a little wait and start looking as pregnant as I feel!

Regardless of my sicky feelings all the time, that hasn't kept me from having fun with my little family! We have spent a ton of time at the Cape House and just being outside. So instead of re-caping all of the things we have done, how about I post some of my favorite pictures since the last post? Sounds good, right? Here goes!!

Sleeping on the boat
Drinking on the beach
Being a boy
He did this on his own, I swear to God!!

Baby Update!

Ok, I need to think up a nickname for the new one, since we still refer to Cam as the baby. And it will be that way for as long as we can!! In ultrasounds, it's kinda looking like a Teddy Graham, so maybe? We'll see!

Anyway, last week I went in for the precautionary cerclage that we are hoping will keep me off of bed rest this time around. With Cameron, they didn't notice anything wrong until the 20th week, at which time he was pretty much getting ready to arrive. So they stitched me up and put me on bed rest for the last half of the pregnancy. Due to the surgery, pregnancy and bed rest, I developed DVT, or a blood clot, at week 22 and was put on blood thinners. So we started those this time around to be proactive. Hopefully all of these precautionary measures will help to keep things going well! Now, I'll do anything it takes to get a healthy baby, don't get me wrong! But giving myself the shots kinda sucks and recovering from the surgery wasn't that fun! The spinal took a real toll on my stomach and I was sick for a few days after, not to mention my back! But I'm not complaining. Just not the funnest few days! I did get to hear the heart beat before and after and things sounded great. I am 14 weeks now, and the babe is about the size of a lemon. I have an ultrasound at 16 weeks to check the cerclage and I'm hoping they will be able to tell me the sex. If not, I go in on Sept 22nd for the Big One!

Any predictions??

So that's all the new news with that! I haven't been doing much of anything besides recovering, so nothing exciting to report! Hopefully this weekend well have some late summer fun with some great pictures to post!!

Guess what??

So here's our new surprise:

We found out back in June, but being the superstious person that I am, I've been waiting to tell for ever. I'm 13 weeks now and we are due in February, the 20th to be exact! Mark's birthday is the 21st, so that was pretty funny!! We told my family by making Cam a "Big Brother" t-shirt. Of course, he has no idea what's going on, but we like to pretend that he is excited to be a big brother! See, look how happy he is??

Mini Vacaition Weekend!

So this past weekend we packed up our little family and drove up North to New Hampshire to Lake Winnipasaukee for the weekend. We were attending Mark's cousin Dave's wedding to the adorably sweet Meg. We drove up Friday morning and hit a little traffic, but not to bad. Cam did pretty good stuck in the car for three hours. Nothing a few snacks couldn't handle!! We were staying a a hotel a few miles from the lake with my in-laws and by BIL Matt and his wife Katie. Seperate rooms, of course. The hotel was about a mile from an outlet mall, score! The rest of the family went to the rehearsal dinner that night, but we decided to go to dinner with Aunt Dori at the lake. It was so much fun. We ate on the water, laughed the whole time, spent some time walking on the docks, laughed some more, then met up with some more family for drinks and ice cream. It was truly well spent time!!

The next day was the wedding. In the morning we went to the outlets, then dropped Cameron off with a nanny at the hotel. I was super nervous about this, seeing as it was a stranger that neither he nor I had ever met, but according to her, they had a great time. She said "he was a doll" and they spent time walking outside and had dinner at a waterfall near by. Sounds like a date! We picked him up at around 7:00 and brought him to the wedding for a little bit of dancing. To cute.

And the wedding!! Oh my goodness, it was beautiful! It was at a place called The Inn at Church Landing and it was gorgeous! The weather was perfect and the lake in the background just made it that much more pretty! We had great food, fun with the family and loved watching Dave and Meg get married, finally!!

The next day, we went to Meg's parents lake house on Black Cat Island on the lake. It was adorable and fun with swimming, boat rides and BBQ. Beautifully calm and just what was needed after a busy wedding weekend. One cute thing were Meg's nieces and nephews, all who are a few years older then Cam, spent some time catching sunfish and putting them into a big bucket. Cam was obsessed!! I think right now, fish are one of his favorite things in the world and he spent forever reaching into the bucket saying "fish", or "thiss", with the Cammy lisp, over and over again. He loved it!

It was a great and prefect weekend that we did not want to end. We miss spending our summer vacations on the fresh water like we use to before we had the Cape house, and the baby. Maybe soon, but we are finishing our vacation back on the Cape in a few days through the weekend. Loving summer right now!
