So after begging for months, no years, I finally gave in and agreed to let Mark pick out a new television for our living room. As painful as it is to admit, we are tv people. We have our shows that we follow and like to put in a dvd, when time (and baby) permit. There aren't many times during the day that the tv isn't on, even just for background noise. Part of my agreeing to a new tv was that I would be allowed to pick out a new piece of furniture for the tv to live on. And I wanted something nice. So today was spent first at a few furniture stores, then at the Sony store watching Mark pick out his new baby. The model that he wanted was out of stock so the sales women gave him the next model up, for the price of the original. Score!
